Administrative Officer Job Description:
We are looking to hire a passionate Administrative Officer to oversee internal company operations across all corporate locations. The Administrative Officer’s responsibilities can include but are not limited to coordinating departmental activities, completing daily administrative tasks such as budget & all financial management, conducting long-term planning, & collaborating with team members. The Administrative Officer should be able to analyze existing operational activity and ensure this is in accordance with company standards as well as adjusting operational activities as needed. This position is a full-time in-person position.
A day in the life of a Midwest Steel Administrative Officer:
- Communicate company standards with leadership team members
- Coordinate departmental activities directly with department heads
- Actively monitor corporate budgets and finances
- Manage & adjust financials if required
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies governing personnel and procedures
- Facilitate and improve communication methods within the organization
- Effectively assist team leaders in department management

Minimum criteria:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in office/operational management, human resources, fiscal services, or related field

Salary:
Starting at: $50k annual salary $961.54/week
