History

Established in 2013, Midwest Steel Carports has steadily grown into the prominent corporation it is today. We have grown from a team of five to a team of 50+ throughout our years. We continue to welcome qualified individuals into our family! As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and strive to provide each customer with a satisfactory experience. Due to our diligence and determination, we have been able to move from a rented space to our own redesigned manufacturing facility. Many amazing individuals have contributed to our growth and success in the past few years, including a beloved owner and family member, Hector Aguilar, Jr. Midwest Steel Carports sends a special thank you to Hector, whom we will hold in our memory as we continue to progress. With a bright outlook for the future, we are determined to make every year better than the last!

Everyone at Midwest Steel Carports (the salesperson, the secretary, the design staff, the operations manager, and of course the hardworking installers) were there to answer my many questions. They designed and installed my building in a timely manner and were friendly and professional the entire time. My building turned out better than we imagined and I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to build.

We got our steel building from Midwest Steel. We worked with Ryan Van Auken from start to finish. Each step thru the process, if I had any questions, all I had to do was give Ryan a call and he chased down the answers for me. Even the details being handled by other departments, he was always willing to help me get my questions answered. We are very happy with the building. If we have a need for a other, I know who we will be calling.

The crew showed up at 6:30am , shortly after that parts and pieces were laid out and they started putting my car port together,it was a joy to watch the guy's all work together laying it up,in know time it was up thanks guys.

The office team supplied weekly contact asking of my site prep progress. A1 communication. Also supplied weekly updates on their progress on getting materials prepared. The build team came late on a Friday as they said they would, and worked efficiently and hard as a team and got the job completed!. They were friendly and cleaned up the site perfectly! A great team of guys. The carport is level and true and looks great. Steel gauge looks strong.

A-Frame Horizontal Roof

A-Frame Horizontal roofs give your structure a residential look. The sheet panels run from side to side and does not have purlins or ridge cap. The increase in price to upgrade to A-Frame Horizontal is the additional welding needed on your trusses (bows). An excellent option to keep your residential look for residential areas for a minimum upgrade costs.

A-Frame Vertical Roof

Known as the best choice for areas that experience extreme weather conditions, the vertical roof style is hands down the best choice for Michigan weather. The roof panels run from the pitch to the eaves causing heavy snows, rain, and natural elements to slide off the roof easily. In order to tie down the panels to the structure, we must add purlins or hat channels lengthwise making the structure more rigid. The finished look with special trim all around the roof and ridge cap makes this roof style the best option.
